British Columbia and Manitoba announce provincial nominations for the latest PNP results

This week, both British Columbia (B.C. Manitoba Provincial Nominee ProgrammesNominations were issued to newcomers who wanted to apply for Canadian citizenship. Permanent residence (PR).

Candidates were invited to submit applications through the family reunification and skills immigration streams. Read on for a full breakdown of this week’s provincial immigration news.

Note:Different PNPs use different scoring criteria when assessing immigrants to their province. Scores between PNPs can be very different and are not comparable.

British Columbia

On the 14th of April, the BCPNP invited 37 people to a general draw which considered all the streams of skilled workers within the program.Skilled WorkerSkilled Worker Express Entry British ColumbiaOption (EEBC)*, International GraduateInternational Graduate EEBC Option Express Entry & Semi-Skilled streams). Candidates needed a minimum score of 131 to be invited under all streams—except for the Express Entry & Semi-Skilled stream, in which candidates needed a minimum score of 107 to be invited.

BCPNP also held targeted draws on the 14th for candidates with professional experiences in occupations in demand in B.C. This draw was conducted under the Skilled Worker stream and International Graduate stream (including EEBC Option) and invited at least 36 candidates. The draw cut-off scores are:

• 90 for candidates with childcare experience
• 93 for candidates who have experience in the construction professions
• Candidates with experience in the healthcare professions will receive 100 dollars.
• Candidates with veterinary experience are eligible for 80.

On May 22, the BCPNP conducted another targeted draw to fill in-demand positions within the Skilled Worker, International Graduate and EEBC options streams. At least 75 invitations with cut-off scores included:

• 93 for candidates who have experience in childcare occupations;
• 93 for those with experience in construction;
• Candidates with experience of tech professions are eligible for the 122;
• Candidates with experience in the healthcare professions will receive 100 dollars.
• Candidates with experience in the veterinary professions are eligible for 80 points.

Manitoba

On May 23rd, the Manitoba PNPThe MPNP has held three different drawings under three different programs.

You can also find out more about the following: Manitoba Skilled WorkerStream sent invitations to all those who declared their profile as a “Manitoba Supporter”Who is a close family member, and a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. To be eligible for this draw, candidates must have lived in Manitoba for a minimum of one year. The MPNP invited candidates with a score of at least 782 to apply for this stream.

On the same date, Manitoba held a drawing under the International Education Stream. issuing 93 invitations for eligible candidates.

Lastly, MPNP also held an draw under the Skilled Workers Overseas stream. Candidates were only invited if they indicated in their profiles that they had received an invitation under the MPNP’s strategic recruitment initiative. The province invited 39 candidates with a minimum of 688.
