The following are some of the ways to get in touch with each other: The next fee hike will be in 2026.
The following fees will not be increased at this time:
- Canadian Permanent Resident card ($50) is a wallet-sized document issued to new permanent residents in Canada to confirm their status.
- Permanent resident travel documents ($50) are travel documents valid for one entry.
- Replacement of immigration documents or certification.
When calculating how much money you’ll need to move to Canada, remember to add these immigration fees to your budget. While Canada’s immigration fees are less expensive than countries such as Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom, these fees can still add up.
What is the Right to Permanent Resident Fee
The Right of Permanency Fee is an additional fee that all permanent resident applicants are required to pay after their application is approved. To avoid delays in processing, you can pay this fee at the same time as your application fees. The IRCC will refund your full application fee if you are not approved.
