Ontario announces 2024 PNP allocation. Three provinces nominate nominees in latest draws

OntarioThe Nominations Committee has received a total of 21,500 nominations. Provincial Nominee Program(PNP), in 2024.

This number represents an increase of 5,000 nominations over 2023’s 16,500.

Ontario’s allocation increase follows last November’s meeting of the Federation of Ministers Responsible for Immigration(FMRI), where immigration ministers from all Canadian provinces and territories met with federal officials Immigration Minister Marc MillerYou can also discuss how immigration affects your jurisdiction.

Every province or territory (with the exception of Quebec, Nunavut and Nunavut), receives an annual allocation for its PNP. Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada(IRCC), even though not all provinces make public their allocations.

 Increased allocations this year are not unexpected. The provinces and territories demanded increased control over provincial nominations and higher allocations at the November FMRI Meeting. This is reflected in the number permanent residents Canada will welcome via the PNP by 2024. According to federal Immigration Levels Plan110,000 new permanent immigrants will be admitted through the PNP. This is a higher number of immigrants than the federal Express Entry program.

Ontario has not announced any notional allocations in the next two-year period.

Results of provincial immigration March 29-April 5,

British Columbia

On April 3, British Columbia invited 83 applicants in four draws of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP).

The largest draw, which included 30 candidates in five categories, was the general. Skilled Workers, Skilled Workers with the EEBC option, and International GraduatesMinimum score of 130 is required.

Candidates with an International Graduate (EEBC option), needed a minimum of 125. Candidates with Entry-Level and Semiskilled needed a minimal of 107.

The minimum score for the 10 candidates selected to be considered for construction occupations is 95.

Alberta

The following are some of the ways to get in touch with each other: Alberta Advantage Immigration ProgramThe Dedicated Healthcare Pathway (AAIP) has issued 48 invitations for candidates to apply.

This is a stream aligned with Express Entry, which means that all candidates were eligible to apply. Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score. Candidates were only considered for this draw if they had a CRS score greater than 300.

Prince Edward Island
