The two original draw types of the IRCC have been part since 2015 when Express Entry was first introduced.
These two draw types focus on welcoming immigration candidates with the highest CRS scores. These scores are assigned by IRCC to all eligible Express Entry candidates based on a variety of human capital factors such as age, education, and work experience.
Three steps are required to obtain an ITA via one of these draw types.
First, candidates must self-verify their eligibility for a minimum of one Express Entry-managed program. At this time, eligible candidates can proceed to create an IRCC profile online and receive their CRS score.
