Toronto Newcomer Day: Celebrating newcomers

Torontonians can celebrate and welcome newcomers to the city on Thursday, 23 May 2024. The event will feature a variety cultural performances, a Citizenship Ceremony for new Canadians and a variety cuisines. Shop for unique items at the newcomer market, sample a variety of dishes at the food festival, enjoy free Tim Hortons drinks, and take part in live music, guided tour, interactive activities, and more.

Attendees have the chance to meet representatives of local organizations and discover resources that can help them settle into Toronto.

Since its creation in 2015, Toronto Newcomer Day is an annual tradition that aims to extend a warm welcome to newcomers and provide them with valuable information about various services. In addition, it is a great way to celebrate the contributions of newcomers in the city.
